Illustrations: Babylonians, coins, vikings and bards

Found formidable treasure trove of nice old illustrations in “The young folk’s story of the world” from 1894. The illustrators that I’ve been able to track Will E. Chapin (d. 1937) and Henri Hildiband (d. 1897) are both safely dead so that we may use their illustrations as we like.

Bellow are but a few pictures from the book that I’ve cleaned. Please use them as you like but it is always nice to be acknowledged as a source:
